About
The National School Orchestra Award is the highest honor you can bestow upon a member of the high school orchestra to recognize excellence in playing and contributions to the ensemble. This award recognizes outstanding dedication and superior musicianship and is awarded typically to one outstanding Boulder High Orchestra Senior each spring.

Areta Kalogeras Award
for Leadership
Areta Kalogeras was one of my primary mentors as a developing performer and music educator. She instilled in me the importance of servant leadership, hard work and integrity and the importance of these skills in the orchestra, within our community and among our students.
